I'm Still Bitter I Didn't Get 'Most Artistic' in High School

Art by Carolyn Slebodnik, Curation by Stephanie Rond

at the wall gallery inside Wholly Craft!

March 12-April 5

Opening Reception: Friday, March 12 6-9pm

We’re thrilled to announce the inaugural show of the wall gallery inside Wholly Craft! From here on out, we’ll be hosting monthly art shows at the shop curated by amazing local artist and curator Stephanie Rond. The first show features all-new artwork from Carolyn Slebodnik, a young community minded artist and member of the Cowtown Lowbrow and CAW (Creative Arts of Women) collectives. According to the artist statement, the floral themed “paintings in this show are all about me longing for the future. The flowers represent spring and hope to me. The winter is getting to me and I need the colors of spring and images of spring to get me through the rest of this horrid winter season. Flowers can hold so many meanings and currently a number of them apply to me and I think that made me very interested in creating paintings with them."

Join us for the opening reception on Friday, March 12th from 6-9pm. Enjoy delicious refreshments, get a first look at the show, and meet the artist herself!

Crafty Business Basics

Wholly Craft is proud to host crafty expert and author of Crafty Superstar, Grace Dobush for a special book talk. If you're interested in growing your craft business or just getting it started, mark your calendars for Saturday March 6th at 2pm.

Since most of us start making crafts purely as a hobby, sometimes it's hard to think about our passion for macrame, lamination or weldigami as a business. But if you want to be taken seriously—and you do if you wanna get paid—you gotta put down the knitting needles and do some homework.

Join Grace Dobush, author of "Crafty Superstar: Make Crafts on the Side, Earn Extra Cash and Basically Have it All," at Wholly Craft for a frank discussion on craft business basics, including pricing, finances and customer service. Bring your burning craft questions!
