She specializes in older models but can also work a basic modern machine (no computerized models, please). Additionally we will talk about patterns, selecting fabrics, and sewing notions. Proper maintenance and care will also be covered during this lab. In order to ensure personalized instruction, the lab is limited to 3 people, so reserve your spot quickly!

**Advance Registration is required for all classes. Please call 447-3445 or email whollycraft-at-yahoo.com to register.

Urban Circus

Urban Circus: New small works by Helma Groot. Curated by Stephanie Rond. Visit the wall gallery in May to experience Urban Circus, a collection of two and three dimensional works inspired by Alexander Calder's circus. The mobiles and paintings deal loosely with the idea of what we do to earn money, what we own, what we take along, and what is most important to us.

Join us for the Opening Reception: Friday, May 14th, 7-9pm.

Inspired to make 3D works of your own? Register for the Soft Sculpture Workshop with artist Helma Groot on Saturday, May 23rd. 12-2pm, $15, all materials provided
